This weekend we had the pleasure of playing two shows; first of all our single launch at Crux in Wakefield. We played with Yard Wars who are always brilliant and Take Turns who we’d not seen before, but were great and you should certainly check them out.
The second show was our first in Manchester, at A Carefully Planned Festival. It was a great day and it was cool to see some of Manchester’s more hidden little spaces. The city should be very grateful it has such a supportive grassroot festival, lots of bands we saw noted it was their first time in the city.
We released our single online through Philophobia’s site and Spotify et al and there were also some physical Polaroid singles, taken in various places and faces of Wakefield. We thought it was a fun way to release a single, who wants a CD with 2 songs on it?
Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us, we had a great time. Here are a few photos from the weekend, where we also saw the mighty Arab Strap (though they didn’t play One Day, After School… but otherwise, great.)
