So here it is, we are launching our debut album “The Invisible Anchor” on April 28th at Henry Boons in Wakefield.
We played our 6th ever gig at Henry Boons, to celebrate the first time one of our tracks was properly released, on the first ever Philophobia Music compilation. So it’s nice that we can release our album with them in the same place.
Were really pleased that Mi Mye will be the main support for the show too. Of course, any other day of the year they’d be way above us in the running order but it’s our special day. It’s a big one for them too though, as they celebrate the release of their new single “Methadone Church” which is backed with a new version of “He Believes In Me” featuring James of Post War Glamour Girls on vocals. And Jamie of Mi Mye recorded, produced and mastered our album too (along with Lee Smith, at Greenmount Studios), so it’s extra cool he’ll be with us.
Finally, it’s also super cool that our oldest surviving musical friends The Passing Fancy will be opening up for us, an all too rare show in Wakefield.
It is £3 entry on the door but if you buy an album or were part of our Crowdfunding Campaign, it’s free in.
April 28th, start your bank holiday weekend in style.
